Coolware is led by Keith Cooley, a proven entrepreneur and experienced network technologist.

 
 
  • Mr. Cooley spent 9 years at Bell Labs, Bellcore, and IBM’s TJ Watson Research Center where he worked on control systems for WDM, packet-switched networking and fiber in the local loop

  • From 1995 to 1998 Mr. Cooley was an adviser to the City of Palo Alto on telecommunications. His work led to the decision to construct a dark fiber ring around the city.

  • Mr. Cooley was Technical Director for PA-Fibernet where he developed the business case and design of the City of Palo Alto fiber-to-the-home trial. In 1999 he founded homeFiber.

  • Mr. Cooley was the founder and CTO of homeFiber. He was responsible for technical strategic direction for the company, technology selection, and the design and implementation of the homeFiber access network.
