With the bundling of IE on the PC users face much confusion and difficulty in continuing to use Netscape as their preferred browser. Clicking a channel icon launches IE, a quick click on a dialog can set IE to be the default, so, all too often IE is launched and set as the default. The result is a slow migration to IE as users grow frustrated as they struggle to continue using the Netscape Browser.

We have come up with a product - BrowserSwitch - that:

  • Automates configuration of the preferred browser on the PC
  • Lowers support costs for the Netscape browser on a PC with IE bundled.
  • Requires little or no technical support
  • Decreases the time spent using the bundled IE
