An extract from the transcript of the Microsoft Anti-Trust Trial
(Professor Farber) told the court of his experience installing Netscape Communications' rival browser on his personal computer, which operates on Windows.
"The way Microsoft packaged and distributed Internet Explorer created real problems" because after installing the Netscape browser,
I kept seeing Internet Explorer pop up in funny places and disturb it. It ain't exactly a nice world for people who want to use Netscape," Mr. Farber said.
Professor Farber you need BrowserSwitch™, the Web
utility for Windows 95 and Windows 98 that places
users in control of which browser to surf the Web.
Please let us know at switch@coolware.com the issues, benefits and problems of having two or more browsers on your PC. |
